how will i know if i am having a heart attack or it is just anxiety??

I am just curious to know the differnce i keep having minor chest pains i dont even know if you would call them that, and my doctor tells me it is just anxiety can anxiety really do that to you?? i am only 22 years old? is it common for people so young to have heart attacks? my doctor tells me that it is soo rare that 22 year olds have heart attacks.

    Are you in college? I am 23 and finals and midterms make my chest hurt, my Dr. said it was anxiety too. I had a friend who thought he was having a heart attack too (he was 23 at the time), and went to the ER and they told him it was anxiety as well.
