If you are experiencing discharge after an anxiety attack, try using a suppository.

I have to agree, you are just nervous and thinking too much, there are thousands of people in the Marines justlike you and if they can make it why cant you? You gotta have that confidence or else you wont succeed in anything. You signed the contract you made the choice now live by your choices. If you are so concerned with the things you may dislike about it you wont see other things about it that you may love.

My friend, it's normal to have some form of anxiety while serving in any combat regiment. Only a fool or an idiot would show no fear whatsoever.

As far as anxiety attacks go, these are easy to treat. The rapid heart rate, tingling, etc. are psychosomaticlly induced 'false' physical symptoms. These by themself, because they are so easy to treat, probably wouldn't get you a discharge.

Your best bet, to ensure a better understanding of yourself and a better future, is to hang in there and remember you're around a lot of men and women just like yourself who feel anxiety, too.

Next time you experience an anxiety attack, just remember that it won't kill you. Anxiety is a normal part of life and you can manage to control it. One book that helped me out was "From Panic to Power" by Lucinda Bassett. It helped me overcome my fears and face my attacks face to face. This is something you can conquer. Just believe it and don't be afraid of anything. I'll be shipping out to Navy basic training in January. Just remember you ain't alone. And no, you won't get discharged. You CAN control your anxiety attacks.

To feel anxious is normal. If you are paralyzed by fear - that's another matter. You need to contact someone who deals with the mental health areas where you are stationed.
